The schedule of fees contained on the Office of the Bursar website is expected to prevail during any given academic year, but the Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents for Higher Education reserve the right, at any time, to authorize changes in fees and to establish new fees applicable to all currently enrolled students.
Fee bills, covering the semester’s charges, are computed by and are payable to the Office of the Bursar no later than the Friday before the first (1st) day of the semester. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for specific dates. Failure to remit payment by the deadline may result in a "Bursar hold", which prevents students from accessing services such as class registration, recreation services, library services, parking services, transcripts and other important services. (Note, the University does not restrict access to dining services or housing.) All students are billed by e-mail notification only. Failing to receive an e-mail bill notification does not absolve the student of the responsibility of payment by the due date. Students have 24/7 access to view any term fee bill through accessing their student account, and detailed information on how to access fee bills can be found on the Office of the Bursar's website.
Detailed information regarding student health insurance plans and cost can be found at the Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) website. Graduate students who have been appointed as a Graduate Assistant have access to enroll in or waive coverage through the Connecticut Partnership Plan.
