Fellowships

Graduate students may receive financial support for their study from a variety of sources, including fellowships. Fellowships are grants to support the recipient’s academic pursuits and may be research-related depending on the type of award and sponsoring agency.
The Graduate School encourages both prospective and current graduate students to explore all available options and identify those that best suit their needs. It is also recommended that students consult with their advisors as well as faculty and staff in their respective programs as these individuals often know more about degree- or discipline-specific sources of financial support.
